Meet our team

Tiffany Strode – Youth Work Project Manager

Tiffany’s background was in teaching where she taught for ten years in local primary schools as well as becoming head of music at the local secondary school. She met Nik in 1995 at university in Hull and they moved to North Bransholme after graduating and have lived there ever since.

When not working Tiff likes to spend time with her family exploring the countryside, visiting the coast and eating out. As a family we have moved to Wawne since 2019 to care for Tiffany’s aging father.

Stacey Ridpath – Senior Youth Worker

Stacey started volunteering for Bridges Hull in 2008. During this time she started a level 2 apprenticeship in youth work and completed her placement with Bridges Hull. In 2013 she gained her degree  in Youth Work at Sunderland University.  On returning from University she came back to work for Bridges Hull.

She is our lead worker in terms of our one-to-one work which seeks to engage our young people who need that little extra level of support. She thoroughly enjoys working with the local young people and feels very privileged to be working at Bridges Hull.

In her spare time she loves spending time with her husband and her primary school aged son.

Ryan McCulloch – Youth Support Worker

Ryan started volunteering for Bridges Hull in May 2017 having completed some work experience with us earlier in February. We then went onto offer Ryan paid employment in recognition of his natural skills and ability to learn quickly about how best to support the young people we engage with. He really connects well with the young people and many of them look up to him because of his passion for music, his ability to teach the guitar and his awareness of the latest online gaming trends. He is also great at providing much needed technical support for the rest of the team.

Christine Burton – Administrator

Christine joined us as our new administrator (January 2023) and is quickly gaining an understanding of our many systems and working procedures.  She is a great asset to the team due to her previous experience and knowledge. She has a compassionate and caring nature and is very patient with the rest of the team who rely upon her for all the amazing unseen work that she does to help Bridges Hull run so smoothly. When she is not at work, Christine enjoys long walks, gardening, baking, sewing and puzzles such as Sudoku.

Andrew Dorton – Trustee

Andrew has extensive experience of working in the voluntary sector in Hull and is a trustee of several local charities. He knows how systems work, so his knowledge is vital to the running of the charity. He has previously served as a local city councillor.

Andrew had a boyhood dream of running a scrap yard and, if the collection of Alfa Romeos sitting outside in his back garden is anything to go by, he is well on the way to achieving it!
