Andrew Dorton – Trustee

Andrew has extensive experience of working in the voluntary sector. He knows how systems work, so his knowledge is vital to the running of the charity. He has recently been elected to serve as city councillor.

Andrew had a boyhood dream of running a scrap yard and, if the collection of Alfa Romeos sitting outside the front of his house is anything to go by, he is well on the way to achieving it!

Jane Monaghan – Finance and Administration, Youth Support Worker

Jane started as a volunteer in Sept 2013 before becoming a paid member of staff two years later in 2015. Jane has quickly become an invaluable member of the team and helps to ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. She also supports our young people within the youth clubs sometimes. She is an excellent multi-tasker and is worth her weight in gold. When not working Jane finds time to relax in her garden and is extremely green fingered.

Stacey Ridpath – Youth Worker

In 2013 she gained her degree  in Youth Work at Sunderland University.  On returning from University she came back to work for Bridges Hull.

She thoroughly enjoys working with the local young people and feels very privileged to be working at Bridges Hull.

Ryan McCulloch – Youth Support Worker

Ryan started volunteering for Bridges Hull in May 2017 having completed some work experience with us earlier in February. He really connects with the young people who look up to him because of his passion for music and his ability to teach them with his guitar. We then went onto offer Ryan paid employment in recognition of his natural skills and ability to learn quickly about how best to support the young people we support.

We are also supported by other volunteers from the local community.
