Tiffany Strode – Youth Work Manager

Tiffany’s background is in teaching. She met Nik at university in Hull and they moved to North Bransholme after graduating and have lived there ever since.

When not working Tiff likes to spend time with her family exploring the countryside, visiting the coast and eating out.

Nik Strode – Senior Youth  and Community Worker

Nik was previously a youth worker working for Bodmin Road Church on Bransholme.

He has many years experience of engaging with young people. They relate well to his easy going manner and relaxed tone.

When he’s not at work Nik likes to snap up bargains or get things for free! He also enjoys playing football and snooker.

Rob Bailey – Trustee

Rob’s principal job is running Swallow Hill Homes which he set up 10 years ago, he is also joint owner and director of Aberdare School Developments. As a developer of existing buildings, principally in Nottinghamshire, Rob is commercially astute and brings experience from the private sector into Bridges Hull. As a qualified chartered accountant Rob also does the books and accounts with the help of Matt. Rob is recently married and lives in London but is only on the other end of the phone to the team.

Whilst not working Rob has travelled quite widely and is a very keen on exercise, Squash being his favourite sport.

Andrew Dorton – Trustee

Andrew has extensive experience of working in the voluntary sector. He knows how systems work, so his knowledge is vital to the running of the charity. He has recently been elected to serve as city councillor.

Andrew had a boyhood dream of running a scrap yard and, if the collection of Alfa Romeos sitting outside the front of his house is anything to go by, he is well on the way to achieving it!

Paul Martindale – Trustee

Paul is a drugs and alcohol counsellor. He brings experience more than 15 years of time in the sector. In the mornings, evenings and at weekends Paul enjoys catching every moment of sleep he can get when his young children are not awake!

Stacey Ridpath – Youth Worker

Stacey started volunteering for Bridges Hull in 2008. During this time she started a level 2 apprenticeship in youth work her placement was at Bridges. In 2010 she went to University to study youth and commit work. On returning from University she came back to work for Bridges Hull.

She thoroughly enjoys working with young people and feel very privileged to be working at Bridges Hull.

In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and go to the cinema.

Thomas Thomson – Youth Worker


Thomas was born in Hull. He is a level two Youth Worker. Thomas started with Bridges Hull as a volunteer he then went on to do a youth work apprenticeship which he did his placement at Bridges. His passions are to see young people reach their potentials in life.

When Thomas is not at work he likes to spend time with his family and going on days out.

Paige Stewart – Youth Support Worker

Paige is a level two youth worker who has been apart of the bridges team for since 2012. She enjoys working with the children and her fellow workers.

Paige also works at one of the local primary schools and spend most of her time shopping with her young daughter.


We are also supported by other volunteers from the local community.
