Where do we get our funds from?

In the last couple of years our turnover has been in the region of £50-£60,000, this funding comes from numerous different sources.

Hull City Council

The youth clubs that we run are funded by Hull City Council, this currently provides most of our income.

Swallow Hill Homes
Property developers Swallow Hill Homes are run and owned by one of our Trustee’s & contribute towards our running costs though the recent downturn in the market has meant this hasn’t been at the level of the initial years when we started. Going forward we expect this to be around a third of our turnover.

Grants
We apply to the council, city council, youth service and other bodies to run services on their behalf. The reductions in council incomes have meant that this level of income has significantly reduced though we continue to apply for grants to run trips, events and provide 1 to 1 support services to young people.

Private individuals
Over the past 4 years we have support from private individuals and the congregation of Thornbury Baptist Church, this has allowed us to run programmes.
